update on blogspot ban in Pakistan

Pretty much all the time that I was writing my post on the disappearance of Kali´s blog pakifeminist.blogspot.com (and already way before that as well) other bloggers have been writing on the Pakistani Supreme Court decision to ban blogspot.com on the basis that some blogs displayed the controversial Mohammad caricatures earlier this year. I was too slow to see all the existing online articles and posts and to link them here. Well, weekend time – catch up time, so here are some links to more information on the blogspot ban (without any claim to completeness, please leave a comment if you have a post or know of others):

Chowk (March 5)
Global Voices Online (March 5)
Reporters sans frontières (March 6)
Confessions of a Superwoman (March 7)
Washington Post (March 8)
Brown Rab Girl Fish (March 17)

There is a Petition up at Petition Spot (posted on March 6). It has 39 signatures so far (Monday morning March 20, Berlin time). Thirty-nine!! Am I missing something here? Are there other petitions out there in the blogosphere that I have missed once again, or does this messed up ban really not get a lot of attention except for intense shoulder hunching outside pakistani blogger circles?
